Room 15 (Level -1) August 24, 2018 9:30 am - 11:00 am

The 90 minute workshop will provide the floor for an open discussion of the Manifesto for Innovation in Europe.

The Manifesto (manifestoforinnovationineurope.org) is an open co-creation result with two main contributions: 1) A vision of the transformative role of Innovation in the Europe of the Digital Transformation. 2) A set of directions to start working in order to unleash the EU potential in terms of both innovation-led growth and societal transformation.

The participants will have the chance to talk and discuss with people who had a direct role in the edition of the document in its different phases. There will be the chance to criticize weak elements, clarify unclear points, propose potential modifications and understand the relevance of the Manifesto as a tool for the Living Lab community.

As an open co-creation process, the Manifesto has the chance to evolve and change to gain impact and effectiveness, and this workshop will be a great opportunity to create relevant material and make the Manifesto a strong, powerful, live tool.

Special guests from the area of Innovation of different international Institutions, including United Nations, will contribute with their view to the Manifesto, and the Manifesto will be put in context with other documents related to support to growth and investment in SME’s and industrial innovation, Open Innovation, Social Digital Innovation, etc.
